Officials from Hopkinsville and WHVO-WKDZ were among those honored Wednesday by the Kentucky Recreation and Park Society. The awards were presented during the annual awards Luncheon at the Marriott East in Louisville.
Parks and Recreation Director Tab Brockman was named Professional of the Year.
Mayor Carter Hendricks was named Outstanding Public Official.
The Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Department received the Class II Outstanding Department award.
And WHVO-WKDZ and President Beth Mann were presented the Communication award.
Pam Rudd was also recognized for her 37 years of participation with the Kentucky Recreation and Park Society.
