Two Hopkinsville residents were injured in a two vehicle at the intersection of Pyle Lane and Cox Mill Road Monday morning. Hopkinsville Police say the wreck occurred at 11:20am when 54-year old Linda Ridgway was on Pyle Lane stopped at the stop sign and then pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by 74-year old Gilbert Lee who was traveling southbound on Cox Mill Road. Police report the impact caused Ridgway’s vehicle to spin 90 degrees and caused Lee’s car to overturn onto the passenger side in a ditch.
Ridgway and Lee were transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
