Police are investigating the theft of $5,000 worth of power tools from a business on West 7th Street. David Adams filed a theft report Monday with Hopkinsville Police that sometime between Friday after and Monday morning an unknown suspect unlawfully entered a fenced in area at Pennyrile Fire Safety, located at 1411 West 7th Street, and removed various power tools from inside vehicles.
