Motorists need to be aware the southbound US 41/Pembroke Road entry ramp to the southbound lanes of the Breathitt-Pennyrile Parkway Exit 8 at Hopkinsville is closed this morning. Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd says the closure is to allow cleanup of debris from the ramp area after Saturday's tornado.
The ramp is expected to remain closed until around 11:30am Tuesday. Todd notes there will be no marked detour. However, he adds motorists may self-detour via the US-41-Alternate Interchange at Hopkinsville.
