A Madisonville woman was arrested on a warrant for allegedly shoplifting more than $1,300 from a Hopkinsville store. Hopkinsville Police charged 29-year old Rana Newman with Theft By Unlawful Taking Over $500 – Shoplifting. The report says Walmart, located at 300 Clinic Drive, made the shoplifting complaint after Newman removed $1,309 worth of unpurchased merchandise from the store.
Newman was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
