Former University of Kentucky Quarterback Jared Lorenzen will be in Trigg County Wednesday night to share the story of his battle with his weight. Pennyrile District Health Department Director Charles Hiter says Lorenzen is now on a personal mission.
Lorenzen says he doesn’t have a goal weight in mind.
Being healthy and doing it the right way means he’s had to do work before even losing pounds.
Lorenzen hopes he can inspire those struggling with excess weight like he has his whole life.
He says he met Anthony Holt a couple times before finally taking him up on the offer to do a documentary series.
Holt previously made a documentary about ex-NBA star Antoine Walker’s post-retirement financial troubles.
Lorenzen will meet with the community Wednesday from 5 until 6 at the Trigg County Elementary school gymnasium. After sharing his story with the group, there will be a fun community workout, which he promises will not leave you sore the next day. Lorenzen will also be visiting with Lyon County Thursday and Crittenden County Friday.
