A woman who police list as homeless was arrested Sunday morning and charged with prostitution. A Christian County Sheriff's deputy reports while he was at Walmart on Clinic Drive in Hopkinsville Sunday morning around 1:00, he was approached by a male and his friend that had given a ride to 46-year old Charmaine Bronough. The man went on to tell the deputy Bronough had offered sexual favors in exchange for money because she is homeless and without a vehicle.
The deputy says he made contact with Bronough and she stated she made the offer because she just wanted to go somewhere to get out of the rain, and stated she had no money and had lost her home and vehicle.
Bronough was booked into the Christian County Jail.
