The move of two-lane traffic to new Lake Barkley Bridge along US 68-80 in Trigg County is now expected to take place around noon Monday. Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd says the contractor will be working to place additional traffic barrier walls to make the traffic shift. The paint striping crew is also having to wait for warmer temperatures before they can add striping to the new bridge.
Todd says the initial move to two-lane traffic is expected to occur around noon, with all traffic to be moved to the new bridge by mid-afternoon.
