Mediation Possible In 2016 Murder Case

The trial date for a 2016 murder case is still scheduled for March. Dorien Meullion appeared in Christian Circuit Court Wednesday morning on one count of murder. Commonwealth’s Attorney Lynn Pryor and defense attorney Clay Beineke told Circuit Judge John Atkins they were planning to meet with a mediation judge. Judge Atkins left the March 26th trial date on the docket and told the attorneys if they reached an agreement before then to let him know.

Meullion is accused of shooting Tarone Williams at the East 9th Street Marathon gas station on October 15, 2016. Williams was inside a car at the time and fled but crashed into a van in front of the L&N Depot.
