Third Trigg Student Charged After New Threat

Trigg County School officials say a third student is facing charges after making a threat toward a teacher Tuesday afternoon. Superintendent Travis Hamby says the latest threat was made by an Intermediate school student against a teacher in the Intermediate School.

Cadiz Police Chief Chad Grace says the intermediate student is facing charges in the juvenile division of Trigg District Court.

Superintendent Hamby called on the community to come together to help stop the threats being made by students.

Chief Grace adds students need to be careful when talking to other students.

Hamby says other school districts have experienced similar problems since the Marshall County High School shooting January 23rd.
