Five File On Final Day In Trigg County

An incumbent and several challengers are the final people to file in Trigg County to seek partisan office. Incumbent 3rd District Magistrate Jon Goodwin officially filed Tuesday as a Republican to seek re-election.

Also seeking a seat on Fiscal Court are former magistrate Barry Littlejohn and Thaddeus “Jock” Bingham. Littlejohn is hoping to win back the 2nd District seat held by Scotty Hampton. Bingham will challenge incumbent Jeff Broadbent and hopeful Dale Henderson in a Democratic Primary.

Meanwhile, Tammy R. Groves filed as a Republican for Property Valuation Administrator. Groves will face Lauren Fowler and James Kyler in a May Primary. The winner will campaign against incumbent Michael Bryan in the November General Election.

Ray Wyatt filed to seek the 2nd District Constable office. Wyatt is a Republican and will appear on the November General ballot with Democrat Erin Eagleson.
