A third candidate filed for Hopkinsville Mayor. Walter Shamble turned in his paperwork to run as the Independent candidate for the office. He has run numerous times for the office.
Also filing Tuesday morning was Jason Bell. Bell will be running as a Republican candidate for Hopkinsville City Council Ward 11. Bell is the co-owner of The Car Spa on North Main Street. He will face Democratic Incumbent Wesley Grimes in the November General Election.
