A Trigg County juvenile, that was arrested Saturday night for a threat, is facing an additional charge after making a false threat Monday. According to Trigg County Sheriff Ray Burnam the juvenile was charged with Falsely Reporting an Incident.
Burnam says he received a call Monday from the Trigg teen who told the sheriff another student had threatened to bring a gun to school and shoot people. Upon further investigation, Burnam says the teen recanted his story and said he made it up. The teen was taken back into custody and lodged in the Juvenile Detention Facility in Paducah a second time.
