There will be two primary races for Christian County Coroner. Melton Brooks filed with the Clerk's Office Monday to run as a Democrat for the office. He will face Zach Lamb in May. Meanwhile, Jane McKnight and Scott Daniel will face off in the Republican Primary. The winners of each Primary will appear on the November General Election ballot.
Brooks and McKnight have made previous runs for the office against Coroner Dorris Lamb. However, Dorris Lamb announced several months ago that he would not be seeking re-election.
