Trigg County voters will have a choice in the County Clerk’s race in November. Businesswoman Missy Burgess filed to run as a Republican Tuesday.
Burgess says she wants people to receive equal treatment when they come to the clerk’s office.
She says her experience has prepared to hold public office.
Burgess lost to Carmen Finley by 89 votes in the Democrat Primary election in 2014. She owns and operates Consignment World in Cadiz.
