Marshall County High School students will return to classes today. According to a message sent to Marshall County students, parents and staff Thursday, students will gather at 8:00 in the gymnasium for an assembly.
The message notes doors will open at 7:30, with students instructed to enter through the lower lobby gym doors. School officials also say parents are not required to attend school this morning with their students, but certainly will be welcome to do so.
Meanwhile, a large crowd gathered Thursday night at Mike Miller Park in Draffenville for a candlelight vigil. The crowd was large enough to result in traffick and parking issues along the roadway near the park.
