Man Charged With Possessing Meth, Marijuana

A Hopkinsville man wanted on a warrant is facing additional charges after he was reportedly found him in possession of marijuana and meth. Christian County Sheriff's Deputies went to a home in the 4000 block of Dawson Springs Road Sunday night before 8:00 to serve an arrest warrant on 47-year old Stephen Ochs. Upon arrival, they indicate the homeowner stated Ochs was not there. However, deputies say they found Ochs sitting on a bed in the back room, along with 4 to 5 bags ranging in different sizes on the floor by the bed. Deputies also found a bag inside of a backpack with a small homemade pipe, a glass jar containing what they believed to be marijuana, and a white crystalized substance believed to be meth.

Ochs was arrested and lodged in the Christian County Jail charged with Possession of Marijuana, 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ochs was also served the arrest warrants.
