Road conditions around the Southern Pennyrile are expected to continue to improve. Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District One and Two spokesman Keith Todd says sunshine helped crews make progess Tuesday.
Todd says crews will be concentrating on secondary roads today.
He says due to snow being on the ground several days, there is another threat to watch out for.
Meanwhile local road crews are still working to make progress today. Trigg Emergency Director David Bryant says secondary roads are still slick and treacherous.
Officials remind you to stay in if at all possible.
