Cadiz Public Works has been busy since the early morning hours trying to help improve road conditions. Director Kerry Fowler says they started spreading salt around 1:00am and had spread another coat by mid-morning. However, he adds people need to be careful because parking lots and sidewalks are very slick.
In addition, Fowler says some emergency personnel are out helping those that need to go somewhere.
He notes Mayor Todd King will be helping those who need to get to dialysis.
For the remainder of the day and into Friday night, Fowler says roads will continue to deteriorate.
He adds they will continue working on the roads throughout the day.
