Two Hopkinsville women were injured in a two vehicle wreck at the intersection of Country Club Lane and Lafayette Road New Year's Day. Hopkinsville Police say the wreck occurred just after 3:00 Monday afternoon when 71-year old Cynthia Davis stated she was westbound on Country Club Lane when the stop light at South Virginia turned green and she continued through the intersection and was hit by a van driven by 50-year old Tammie Lynch, who also claimed her light was green.
Police say Davis was transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for neck pain while Lynch complained of leg pain and was taken to the hospital by private vehicle.
