Hibbett's Sporting Goods Robbery Suspect Back In Jail

One of the suspects indicted in June in connection to a robbery at a Hopkinsville sporting goods store is back behind bars after she reportedly violated conditions of her bond release. Hopkinsville Police say 18-year old Tatyana Burgess was taken into custody on an arrest warrant around 4:50 Tuesday afternoon and lodged in the Christian County Jail under a $25,000 bond.

Burgess and 19-year old Antonio Crockett, Jr. were indicted by the Christian County Grand Jury in June 2017 on charges of 1st Degree Robbery, 1st Degree Fleeing and Evading Police in a Motor Vehicle, 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment and Knowingly Receiving Stolen Property under 10,000. Police reported the charges stem from a robbery at Hibbett's Sporting Goods in Hopkinsville on April 22, 2017 in which the pair fled the store with an undisclosed amount of stolen clothing and then led officers on a pursuit to the 11 mile marker of Interstate 24 in Tennessee where they were arrested.
