The Novel Matchmaking Program- HCCPL

The Novel Matchmaking program is for adults 21+. We will have refreshments as well such as a meat/cheese platter and cookies. The idea is patrons will “speed date” books in different genres. We will have tables set up with each genre listed and 3 different books pertaining to that category. We will give the attendees 5 minutes in each genre before moving on to the next. They will fill out slips related to their first impressions (cover), flirting (blurb/summary), and getting to know you (read first few pages) on a scale of 1-4. At the bottom of the slip the patron is asked if they would like to take the book out.
