Register by November 15th

 

1. Registration Forms must be completed (either online or hardcopy) by November 15, 2023
   • Hard copy can be submitted to the Trigg County Extension Office by the deadline

2. Entry Fees:

• Private Residence or Non-Profit: $50
• Businesses:$100
  • Business cost includes logo on bale trail map, tagged in social media posts, shoutouts on media, and other ways to promote your business
  • Please send logos to crawford@uky.edu by November 15, 2023
• Make checks payable to “Trigg County 4-H Council”
• Mail to PO Box 271 Cadiz, KY 42211 or drop off checks to 2657 Hopkinsville Road Cadiz, KY 42211
• Due by November 15, 2023

1. Displays must be located Trigg County,  Displays must be visible from a city, county, or state roadway and must not limit vehicle visibility or in any way cause an obstruction to traffic.

1. Each display will be shown on the official Trigg County Jingle Bale Trail Map which will include:
   • Title of Display
   • Name of family, business, or organization
   • Address of Display
2. The 4-H Jingle Bale Trail is a family-friendly event, please make sure all displays are appropriate. Trigg County4-H reserves the right to exclude any displays that are deemed inappropriate from the Official Map and Fan Favorite Vote

1. You can begin to work on your display at any time

1. We ask you please keep displays up until December 31,
2. Categories:1st and 2nd place will be awarded for each of the following
   • Small:1-12 square bales or equivalent size
   • Medium:1-2 Round Bale or equivalent size
   • Large:3+ Round Bales or equivalent size
   • Farm Equipment: add lights and decorations to farm equipment

9. Judging

• Entries must be complete by sunrise on December 1, 2023
• Displays will be judged on originality, creative use of materials, attention to detail, & overall effect

1. People’s Choice Award: Photos of all Displays will be posted on the Trigg County 4-H Facebook page. The display with the most “likes” on Facebook will be given the award. Voting will end on December 10, 2023

11. Important Dates

• November 15, 2023: Registration forms and entry fees must be submitted
• December 1, 2023: Displays must be complete by sunrise
• December 10, 2023: Facebook Fan Favorite voting ends
• December 11, 2023: Winners will be announced
• December 31, 2023: Jingle Bale Trail Ends
