The Social Reading Room is a collective community reading of the additional list of books recommended from Latasha Morrisson founder and author of Be the Bridge: Pursuing God’s Heart to Racial Reconciliation. The City of Compassion Committee facilitates the discussion and each book allows an opportunity to expand the story and history of communities within the United States. Book discussions of Harvest of Empire: A History of Latinos in America by Juan Gonzalez.
