The governing body of Hopkinsville is ready to hit the ground running in 2025. Nine of the 12 City Council members were sworn in Monday evening. Pastor and Ward 3 Councilman, Don Marsh opened the meeting by praying for wisdom.
Circuit Judge Andrew Self swore in the new city council.
Mayor JR Knight thanked the newly elected city council members as well as those who were re-elected.
Council members Travis Martin, Seth Meek, and Brittanie Bogard were sworn in last week.
