At least two area legislators are seeking public input for the upcoming Kentucky General Assembly Session that begins Tuesday, January 7.
Legislators will meet for the first portion of the 30-day session through Friday, January 10, will recess until Feburary 4th. The second portion of the session will continue until March 28th.
Eighth District State Representative Walker Thomas, who represents Christian, Trigg, and Caldwell Countes sent a card to constituents seeking input on the session priorities. Fifth District Representative Mary Beth Imes, who represents Trigg and Calloway Counties, has also extended an invitation for constituents to fill out a survey about their priorities for the 2025 session.
Representatives Thomas and Imes say anyone who is interested in visiting legislators during the session or having a student participate in the page program can contact them for more information.
