Charles H. “BI” Rogers, 89, Lafayette Road, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2024, at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 22, 202,4 at the funeral home.
A native of Lafayette, KY, he was born April 28, 1935, the son of the late Leon E. Rogers and the late Lela Mavis (Wyatt) Francis.
BI was a postmaster for 18 years at the United States Postal Service. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn Lamb Rogers; his brothers, Garner Rogers, Billy Boyd Rogers, and Johnny Rogers.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Rogers, Hopkinsville, KY; his daughters, Alison Rogers-Keith and Brandi (Jamie) Alexander, both of Hopkinsville, KY; his son, Larry (Tammy) Brown, Paducah, KY; his sisters; Linda Rogers Hillman and Brenda Smithson, both of Christian County, KY; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
