Mrs. Ruth Ann Schulz, age 80, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away, on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.
Mrs. Schulz was born on July 21, 1944, in Christian County, Kentucky to the late Plomer Boren and Orva (Wallace) Boren Smiley. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
She was a devoted wife and mother to her husband, Vernon J. Schulz of Murray, Kentucky; they were married for 60 years; two sons, Dennis E. Schulz and wife Wanda of Murray, Kentucky and Bradley Schulz of Murray, Kentucky; also surviving are two sisters, Geneva Bargo of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Lenita Stewart of Herndon, Kentucky; as well as one brother, Larry Boren and wife Cheryl of Crofton, Kentucky.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the Powell Cemetery in Lafayette, Kentucky.
J.H. Churchhill Funeral Home in Murray is in charge of the arrangements.
