For the third consecutive year, the J.D. Power 2024 Gas Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study ranked Atmos Energy #1 in Customer Satisfaction with Residential Natural Gas Service in the Midwest among Midsize Utilities.
Mike Dickson, Atmos Energy vice president of customer service, said they are grateful to receive this recognition…and that it reinforces the 98 percent satisfaction rating they receive from customers in the surveys they conduct on their own.
The 2024 Gas Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study is based on responses from 63,363 online interviews conducted from January through October 2024 among residential customers of the 86 largest gas utility brands across the United States, which represent more than 125,000 residential customers.
Atmos Energy’s overall customer satisfaction index ranking among midsize utilities in the Midwest this year is 776, which represents a 12-point increase over its 2023 score.
