A Hopkinsville woman was charged after she allegedly tried to stab her brother during an argument on Colonette Drive Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 23-year-old Candace Johnson got into an argument about leaving the house, and she broke a plate, then attempted to stab him with it before pulling a knife and biting him on the forearm.
While waiting for an ambulance, police say she kept yelling at other people even after being told to stop.
She was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, and second-degree disorderly conduct.
