Juanita Faye Morse, age 73, of Cadiz, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at her daughter’s home in Evansville, Ind., of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be at the funeral home that morning before the service from 11 AM until the funeral hour. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Juanita was born on February 1, 1951, in Hopkinsville, the daughter of the late John Charlie Sutton and Katherine Alene Baker Tillman. She was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Church in Sebree. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her four brothers, Cecil Sutton, Gerald Tillman, Tony Sutton, and Johnny Sutton; and her two sisters, Kathy Scott and Henrietta Dawson.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Gilbert Morse, Sr., of Cadiz, KY; her four sons, Gilbert (Susan) Morse, Jr., of Clearwater, FL, Ricky Morse of Newburgh, IN, Daniel (Jeanette Sherman) Morse of Sebree, KY, Josh (Shannon Hedinger) Morse of Dale, IN; her two daughters, Kim (Tim) Pierson of Manitou, KY, Mary Jo “Josie” (Alex) Perez of Evansville, IN; her four sisters, Glenda (Johnny) Murphy of Herndon, KY, Sandy Sweeney of Herndon, KY, Brenda Dawson of Princeton, KY, Geraldine (Martin) Smith of Hopkinsville, KY; her twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
