A pursuit that began on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville led to the arrest of a Clarksville man Sunday night.
Kentucky State Police say they tried to stop a vehicle for speeding near Crenshaw Boulevard, but the driver 37-year-old Chad Page accelerated toward Oak Grove.
The pursuit ended when the vehicle collided with another vehicle in front of Gate 4.
Police say after the crash, Page tried to run away but was tased and taken into custody.
The driver of the car that was struck at Gate 4 was transported to the hospital by ambulance for injuries. Page was arrested and charged with DUI, second-degree assault, resisting arrest, first and third-degree fleeing or evading police, and several traffic violations.
