A Cadiz woman was charged with criminal abuse after an investigation into the care of her children Friday morning.
Cadiz Police say they were called by a daycare facility for possible abuse of a small child who had marks, abrasions, and bruises; that were not there the day prior. During the investigation, the child’s sibling was allegedly have found to show up regularly at the daycare with dirty diapers and clothing.
Police say the investigation led to the arrest of 37-year-old Brittany Evans after the interviews done by the Department for Community-Based Services.
Evans is charged with second and third-degree criminal abuse.
