A juvenile was charged after he fled from law enforcement on North O’Neal Avenue in Hopkinsville Sunday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop a van for disregarding a stop sign, and the driver fled, traveling into a field at the end of North O’Neal Avenue.
Officers reportedly pursued the vehicle over several large hills before the driver turned onto North Kentucky Avenue and stopped, then rolled into one of the cruisers.
The juvenile driver and two other juvenile passengers were taken into custody, with the driver being charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, first-degree criminal mischief, receiving stolen property, two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, and several traffic violations.
