The Christian County Grand Jury returned several indictments Friday on charges of wanton endangerment.
Mark Sanchez, of Clarksville, was indicted on multiple charges, including first-degree fleeing police, first-degree wanton endangerment, and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
The charges are from a high-speed chase on September 15 when state police tried to stop Sanchez on the Pennyrile Parkway. Police said the pursuit ended when Sanchez exited onto Eagle Way, ran off the road, and was taken into custody.
David Jarmain West, also of Clarksville, was indicted on multiple charges including first-degree fleeing police, DUI, driving on a DUI suspended license, resisting arrest and first-degree wanton endangerment.
The charges are in connection to a pursuit involving state police on October 6 on the Pennyrile Parkway that ended on Pembroke Road when police said West collided with an SUV, causing it to overturn. Police said the SUV’s driver, Ben Fletcher, was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment of injuries.
Jeremiah Harris, of Oak Grove, was indicted on charges of fourth-degree assault, reckless driving and first-degree wanton endangerment from an incident on August 10.
Hopkinsville Police reported that Harris was arrested after his car hit a woman and then collided with another vehicle while trying to leave a block party. Police said both drivers were taken to Jennie Stuart for treatment.
A true bill was returned on Stephanie Vickers, of Hopkinsville, on four counts of distributing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12 years old, and eight counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12.
On July 24, Vickers was arrested after state police said their investigation led to the discovery of equipment at her home used for sharing child sexual abuse images online, which was then seized and sent to a forensic lab for examination.
