Angel Howard/Hopkins County Detention Center mugshot
A traffic stop on Interstate 69 in Madisonville Wednesday afternoon led to the arrest of a Cadiz woman on multiple drug charges.
Madisonville Police reported that 32-year-old Angel Howard was a passenger in vehicle driven by mother, who was stopped after she crossed the fog line and returned to the center line. During the traffic stop, officers said they saw a syringe and a small container between Howard’s legs. After seeing her reach into her clothing, police said they also found a syringe containing suspected meth and Suboxone pills in her bra.
Howard was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of meth, controlled substance prescription not in a proper container, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
