A program underway through the South Western Kentucky Economic Development Council is giving high school students from the Christian, Trigg, and Todd Counties a glimpse into the manufacturing world to help them make career choices.
South Western Kentucky EDC's Tony Prim says SWK at Night is a partnership between schools and industry in the three counties.
Prim says they are currently working with schools in Christian, Todd, and Trigg County and are hoping to continue building that relationship.
He adds this program helps students get their foot in the door and see what manufacturing looks like.
Prim says someone who starts early can have a very profitable career.
