So-called weather prognosticators come out of the woodwork once the temperature drops and the first mention of snow or other winter weather appears on social media.
Paducah Weather Service Meteorologist Justin Gibbs warns you about unqualified people who take to social media to say we could see snow the week of Thanksgiving. It doesn’t mean it won’t happen, but Gibbs says there is no way a forecast that far out can be made with any confidence.
