An Oak Grove man won $50,000 on a Kentucky Lottery scratch-off ticket which caused a sleepless night as he waited to cash in his winnings.
The Christian County Man, who wished to remain anonymous, said he regularly purchases Kentucky Lottery Scratch-offs on the way home from work. On October 13th, he stopped at 115 One Stop Market in Oak Grove where he purchased a $50 Millionaire Club scratch-off.
He scratched the ticket and scanned it at the store to reveal he had won $50,000, which is the game’s second-largest prize.
The next morning, the man visited Kentucky Lottery headquarters to claim his winnings and received a check for $36,000, after taxes.
Lottery officials said the man also won $10,000 previously on a scratch-off ticket.
115 One Stop Market will receive $500 for selling the winning ticket.
