Typically around this time of year, students come home not feeling well.

Trigg County Hospital’s Dr. Ellie Jolly tells Your News Edge several illnesses are spreading across the region.

Jolly offers some tips to ensure you and your children are not the reason they continue to spread.

Jolly says that you should be fever-free for 24-48 hours without the help of ibuprofen or Tylenol before returning to school or work. She adds if you are diagnosed with a bacterial infection, you should have at least 48 hours of antibiotics in your system.
