Christian County Public Schools and University Heights Academy are grieving the loss of two students within the past 7 days.
CCPS Superintendent Chris Bentzel says that the student from Hopkinsville High was very involved within the school.
Bentzel also sends out his thoughts and prayers to the family of the 12 year old UHA student.
He shares that he hopes the community can rally together and shower both grieving families with support.
An open door policy is being offered for both students and staff.
Being available for students and staff who need someone to talk to is of highest importance to the Christian County School administrators and counselors during this trying time.
