A wreck on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville sent a Christian County man to the hospital Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a westbound car driven by 41-year-old Lauren Gibson of Clarksville attempted to turn into the Dollar General parking lot when her vehicle collided with an eastbound SUV driven by 77-year-old Robert Frazier.
The crash sent Frazier’s SUV into a utility pole. Frazier was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment.
East 9th Street was temporarily blocked due to the broken utility pole.
