A Cadiz man was charged with assault after a report of a disturbance on South Road on Friday.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called to the home and referenced to 64-year-old Timothy Hancock assaulting other people at the home but the victims were not present.
They were reportedly given legal advice and later took out a warrant.
Hancock was arrested later that night and charged with fourth-degree assault, third-degree terroristic threatening, and first-degree strangulation.
