Authorities are investigating after a group of people have cashed several fraudulent checks in Hopkinsville.
Hopkinsville Police say the group has cashed checks totaling $8,921 at local businesses that were later found to be fraudulent.
No arrest has been made but the report lists the charge as theft by deception.
