A Hopkinsville man was charged after he allegedly fled from law enforcement on a bicycle during a warrant arrest on Riverview Drive Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop 40-year-old Latrez Brison for having an active warrant for failure to appear and he fled on his bike.
He was reportedly quickly apprehended but resisted arrest by not putting his hands behind his back.
Police say he was found to have a marijuana smoking pipe and suspected meth. During the arrest, a tree was damaged.
Brison was arrested and charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, second-degree criminal mischief, and possession of meth.
