Police have released more information about a wreck on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville that sent a Clarksville man to the hospital Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a car driven by 23-year-old Josaiah Brown was northbound on South Virginia Street when an SUV driven by 22-year-old Eric Chapa of Brownsville, Texas that was eastbound on East 9th Street failed to stop at the light and hit his car.
Chapa fled the area but was located at the Waffle House on Fort Campbell Boulevard and charged with no operator’s license and leaving the scene of an accident.
Brown was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries.
