A Crofton woman was injured in a single-vehicle wreck on Kentucky 800 in Crofton Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say an SUV driven by 56-year-old Sharen Lee was westbound near Grace Life Church when it hit a bridge, went off the road, overturned, and caught fire.
She reportedly told deputies she swerved to miss an animal causing the crash. Deputies say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
Lee was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for Injuries.
Deputies were assisted by Crofton Fire Department and Christian County Rescue.
