A Hopkinsville man has been charged with stabbing another man during an altercation on South Campbell Street Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 39-year-old Michael McGregor got into an altercation with another man and stabbed him in his side.
Law enforcement found out about the stabbing when the male victim showed up at the hospital seeking medical care.
McGregor was later arrested and charged with first-degree assault.
