A wreck on Interstate 24 in Christian County involving a tractor-trailer sent four people to the hospital Friday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a truck driven by John Lee Phillips of North Carolina was merging onto Interstate 24 from Pennyrile Parkway when it collided with an eastbound tractor-trailer driven by Shawn Walker of North Carolina.
Phillips’s truck was hauling a car on a trailer that came unattached in the crash, traveled off the road, and into the tree line.
Four passengers in Phillips’s truck Kelly Robinson and three children were treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries.
