The Way Christian Youth Center in Cadiz is moving closer to a new facility becoming a reality, with the ministry to expand to more youth in the community.
Carl Heckman provided an update to the Cadiz Rotary Club during their recent meeting at the headquarters on Lafayette Street behind Trigg County Schools. Heckman told Cadiz Rotarians the new 3,500 square-foot facility will open up several possibilities.

click to download audioHe asked the Cadiz Rotary Club to support the construction of the new facility by helping to purchase furnishings for the new facility that will be located on the existing campus.

click to download audioThe Way currently offers after-school programs for Trigg County Middle and High School students throughout the school year. Additional programs added in recent years include a partnership with the school system called Wildcats at the Way and a clothes closet located inside one of the tobacco barns that has been remodeled.
